Winnipeg, Manitoba, April 13, 2011    –    h@ms Marketing Services Co-op Inc., following its Annual Meeting held in Winnipeg on April 7, 2011, is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Bradley Rodgers as President. 

 Mr. Rodgers has been a Delegate and Director of Manitoba Pork Marketing Co-op Inc. (now h@ms Marketing Services Co-op Inc.) for thirteen years. Mr. Rodgers was first elected as a Delegate in 1998 representing the Northwest District and in 2000 was elected to the Board of Directors.  Mr. Rodgers has served as the Board’s Vice-President since 2007. 

Brad grew up on the family hog and grain farm in MacGregor, Manitoba.  Upon graduation from University, he taught school for several years, but was drawn back to the family farm in 1991.  He currently farms with his father, uncle and brother-in-law.  Rodgers Farms Ltd. produces breeding stock and butcher hogs as well as 4,000 acres of corn, wheat, barley, edible beans, canola and soybeans. 

Brad and his wife Charmaine have been married for 20 years and have two children, Mykala and Carson.  

Perry Mohr, General Manager of h@ms Marketing Services Co-op Inc., is extremely pleased with the appointment and feels it is vital to have someone with Mr. Rodgers’ experience and knowledge working with and for producers, as the Co-op continues to provide key marketing services in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

h@ms Marketing Services Co-op Inc. represents 300 hog producers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and markets 1.5 million hogs annually.
